OpenEye petition on 'Early Years' policy

Action: please sign the petition. This is one of the maddest things this government has done, a comprehensive attack on parental discretion over the education of their children. Realising that their family policy has destroyed the environment (a stable family) in which children flourish for a large section of the population, the Government is imposing a draconian regime of 'targets' and 'milestones' which every child in the country will be assessed against, the 'Early Years' programme, from birth to aged five years. Petition text: 'We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to commission an urgent independent review of the compulsory Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) policy framework, and to reduce the status of its learning and development requirements to 'professional guidelines'.
